Climate Information for Carmiel and the Western Galilee
Carmiel is located in the Western Galilee at an elevation of 260 meters above sea level. The climate is Mediterranean: hot and humid in the summer, cool to cold and rainy in the winter. The proximity to the Mediterranean tempers the temperatures in the winter and brings high humidity and early morning fog in the summer. Average annual rainfall in Carmiel is 680mm. Most of the rain falls from December to February.
